The collection’s idea came to mind in the inspiring atmosphere of Porto. The designer spent several moths there, and was highly influenced by the local architecture and -in particular - one of its most prominent figure, the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.
Meeting Siza in person - and the fact that she stayed in a building designed by the master - only just intensified the experience.
The main source of inspiration for the collection was modern architecture, the female body and nudity.
To counterpoint the strong lines and geometric shapes, the collection uses soft, skin like leathers witch feature structures that resembles the human body. Natural cowhide and vegetale tanned leathers are the key materials of the season.
Alongside the four classic models; slouchy bucket bags and soft backpacks are also in the collection, such as totes and mid-size bags. The key points feature screws, reflecting on architectural connections. To reserve te mininalist design, the branding is embossed or blindblocked onto the bags.
